hameln pharmaceuticals gmbh is a leading contract manufacturer of injectable medicines and has been successfully producing medicines for more than 50 years. The company needed to build a new facility and revamp an existing one for the production of sterile liquids filled in ampoules and vials.

NNE Pharmaplan’s in-depth pharmaceutical technology expertise and, in particular, its process know-how in small volume parenterals (SVPs) made it the obvious partner for this project.

Cost-effective and timely solution
NNE Pharmaplan’s experts had to analyse, especially where filling systems were concerned, whether to use new systems or rebuild/upgrade existing ones and still stay within budget. They also had to develop a move concept which would ensure a smooth and fast changeover to the new production areas.

The combination of a new greenfield facility and the revamping of an existing production facility certainly provided challenges, but NNE Pharmaplan’s involvement resulted in a timely, cost-effective and high quality solution.
