Merz Group Services needs to make its non-sterile dosage forms (liquids, creams, solids) production facility fully GMP compliant, and it is imperative that the project does not interrupt production. Merz Group Services has asked NNE Pharmaplan for support in planning and execution – and to help maintain existing production throughout the project so that the facility can continue to meet market demand.

Close cooperation for smooth project execution
In such a project – with the facility and technology in use throughout – all teams must be ready to react quickly. NNE Pharmaplan is coordinating closely with the production, construction and installation teams to make sure this can happen.

If, for example, there is a sudden rise in demand, the facility has to be able to meet demand, without delaying the upgrade project. In cases like these, NNE Pharmaplan produces several scenarios each with its own risk assessments. This enables Merz Group Services to make the best possible decision, without losing sight of the project’s overall goals.

The project planning phase is now finished, and Merz Group Services and NNE Pharmaplan are now working on the installation and commissioning phase, while coordinating with suppliers.
