Leif is a senior specialist within Automation & IT at NNE Pharmaplan. His core competences lie within manufacturing execution systems and advanced automation and IT solutions and how they can support current and future business objectives.
Leif’s previous experience include six years as research fellow and assistant professor at the Technical University of Denmark, where he worked with computer simulation, computer aided design and computer aided manufacturing. He has also worked ten year as automation and IT consultant for various industries.
At NNE Pharmaplan, Leif is responsible for development of technology, methods and competences within automation and IT and work as a senior business consultant for customers worldwide. He is an expert on business analysis and conceptual design of automation and IT solutions, including how to deploy such solutions effectively in a GxP regulated organisation.
Leif is member of the ISA SP88 Batch Control Committee, ISA SP95 Enterprise/Control Integration Committee and a member of the GAMP Forum. In 2011, Leif was awarded the ISA ‘Excellence in Documentation Award’ for his article on deployment of MES in the pharmaceutical industry.
